The 33-year-old Italian, best known for reaching the Wimbledon quarter-finals in 2018, quietly retired from tennis last year without informing fans, sparking speculation about her whereabouts. Reports later surfaced claiming she owed months of rent on a villa near Florence and was avoiding Italy’s tax authorities — allegations she strongly denied.
After a period away from public life, Giorgi surprised fans earlier this year when she reappeared in Buenos Aires, Argentina, working as a tennis reporter at an ATP 250 event. She was seen courtside interviewing players and analyzing matches in the studio, hinting at a possible new chapter within the sport.
However, her comeback to tennis was short-lived. According to *Marca*, Giorgi has decided to fully resume her modelling career and is now based in Argentina. Since her return, she has graced luxury photoshoots — posing in a white bikini for PQ Swim and turning heads in a sleek black dress for *La Nación*.
