With her comeback season almost finished, Lindsey Vonn already turning attention to 2026 Olympics

Lindsey Vonn’s comeback season is nearing its end, but her sights are firmly set on the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics. At 40, after a partial knee replacement, every race and training session is part of her Olympic preparation.

Her titanium knee has held up well this season—no ice packs, no setbacks. Vonn feels stronger than ever, crediting her pain-free condition and renewed physical strength for reigniting her Olympic dream and passion for speed.

She’ll wrap up this season with a downhill and super-G in Sun Valley. It’s her final test before deeper training begins. A solid performance would boost her confidence heading into next year’s buildup.

Vonn plans just a short break before returning to Europe for ski testing. Her coach sees clear progress. While a win isn’t everything, she’s chasing it—not for validation, but for the love of the sport.
