Lindsey Vonn made a triumphant return to professional skiing with a second-place finish in the Super-G at the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup finals in Sun Valley. At 40, she’s now the oldest woman to podium in a World Cup event.
Her achievement marks her first medal since retiring in 2019 due to a severe knee injury. An emotional Vonn celebrated with a silver medal, later calling the moment deeply meaningful in a heartfelt Instagram post.
