Charley Hull showcased resilience in Round 2 of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East, Texas. After a steady front nine, marked by one birdie and one bogey, she gained momentum with a series of birdies on the back nine.
Hull’s precision paid off with birdies on holes 12, 13, and 15, carding an impressive 32 on the inward nine. Her total score of 69 placed her three-under-par, keeping her firmly in contention amid the elite field.
Seeking her first Major title, Hull entered the championship with high hopes. Her confidence was evident as she shared excitement over her new TaylorMade golf bag, expressing her enthusiasm on Instagram before the tournament began.
So far in 2025, Hull has participated in eight events, securing a best finish of tied-fourth at the HSBC Women’s World Championship. Despite missing the cut at The Chevron Championship, she remains focused and determined to capture her maiden Major victory.
