Jordan Spieth and his wife Annie Verret welcomed their third child, Sully Spieth, on July 13. The golf star shared the joyful news on Instagram, writing, “We added a new member to the foursome—Sully Spieth!”
The couple, high school sweethearts, married in 2018 and are now proud parents to three children—Sammy, Sophie, and newborn Sully. Jordan had earlier confirmed the baby’s July due date, prompting fans to anticipate his Scottish Open withdrawal.
Spieth skipped the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open, citing the impending birth and a minor neck spasm. He mentioned the injury briefly limited him but confirmed he’s now back to full strength.
The arrival of Sully could provide extra motivation for Spieth heading into the 2025 Open Championship. The three-time major winner, who claimed the Open in 2017, is expected to return for a strong finish to the season.
