Emma Raducanu’s revival continues in Washington, Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans also through

Emma Raducanu secured a hard-fought 7-6 (4), 6-4 victory over Marta Kostyuk at the Mubadala Citi DC Open, showcasing grit and stamina in humid conditions. It marks her first singles win since Wimbledon.

The Brit held off Kostyuk in a tight opening set, surviving a tiebreak after initially blowing a 4-0 lead. She capitalized on early momentum in the second, racing to a 3-0 lead before closing out the match.

Fellow Britons Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans also advanced. Norrie stunned world No 7 Lorenzo Musetti in three sets, while Evans defeated No 30 Alex Michelsen 6-4, 6-4 to continue his ranking climb.

Venus Williams also made headlines, returning to doubles action with Hailey Baptiste. The Mubadala Citi DC Open continues through July 27, with live coverage available on Sky Sports and streaming via NOW.
