Nelly Korda recently shared a lighthearted update from the golf course, posing in an orange Nike top, black shorts, and a white printed cap. Despite the blazing sun, the 27-year-old flashed a smile and summed up her outing with three playful emojis: “🥵☀️⛳.”
The former World No. 1 has been taking a short break since the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl, where she finished tied for 36th. While she was dominant last year with seven victories, Korda is still chasing her first win of the 2025 season.

Her season has seen flashes of brilliance, with runner-up finishes at both the HGV Tournament of Champions and the U.S. Women’s Open. Overall, she has five Top 10 results across 13 starts, but mixed performances in the Majors have kept her from reclaiming peak form.
Korda, recently overtaken at the top of the Rolex Rankings by Jeeno Thitikul, has decided to skip the Portland Classic. Instead, she will return to action at the CPKC Women’s Open in Ontario from August 21–24, aiming to turn her consistency into a breakthrough win.
