Paige Spiranac isn’t ruling out marriage in the future despite going through what she describes as a “traumatic” divorce.
During a Q&A session on her Playing a Round podcast, the 29-year-old golf influencer spoke openly about her split from athletic trainer Steven Tinoco, whom she married in 2018. Earlier this year, Spiranac confirmed that she was no longer married, explaining that the painful process initially made her swear off tying the knot again.
“When I first got divorced, I told myself I’d never remarry,” she admitted. “It was such a hard experience that I couldn’t even think about it.”
With time, however, her perspective has shifted. “Now, I do see myself getting married again. I still believe in love, and I don’t want one negative experience to stop me from having something beautiful in the future,” Spiranac explained. “This time, I’d take things slower and really enjoy the process—like cake tasting, finding a dress, and planning the day.”
She also noted that while she intends to keep her personal life private, she doesn’t want to feel like she’s hiding it. “I still believe in soulmates and finding your person. A bad experience shouldn’t define the rest of your life,” she said.
Spiranac first shared news of her divorce in March 2022 during an Instagram Q&A. Though she never revealed when the split happened, she later told fans she was starting fresh by leaving her Arizona apartment and moving to Colorado.
“I just wanted a new beginning,” she said at the time. “I’m divorced now, and moving has been chaotic, but it feels good to start over.”
