Hip, hip, hooray! Andy Murray gives fans a rare glimpse of family life with his two daughters – from dancing to having his hair combed – in new documentary after his comeback from surgery

Andy Murray has opened up a rarely seen side of his life, letting fans glimpse tender family moments in a new Amazon Prime documentary. The film captures his journey back from hip surgery while showing touching scenes with his wife Kim and their young daughters.

Viewers see the Wimbledon champion at home in Surrey, laughing as his little girls comb his hair with a toy brush, dancing along to “Baby Shark,” and enjoying snowy garden fun while building a snowman. Later footage also shows him cradling one of his daughters on a tennis court.

The documentary, Andy Murray: Resurfacing, also sheds light on his emotional battles. It follows the challenges before and after his hip resurfacing surgery, his determination to return to the game, and the personal growth he found through fatherhood. Murray’s father reflects that both the operation and raising a young family have made him more relaxed and content.

Alongside family clips, the film features interviews with Murray’s mother Judy, brother Jamie, and rivals like Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic. It also touches on deeply personal struggles, including how tennis became an escape for him after the trauma of the Dunblane tragedy and his parents’ divorce.
