Winning a Grand Slam is a dream for most tennis players. Winning 23 singles titles and 14 doubles titles alongside your sister? That’s a feat only Serena Williams can boast. Now, after their role as executive producers on the Oscar-nominated film King Richard with
their half-sister Isha Price, Serena and Venus Williams are stepping back into the spotlight with a new, deeply personal project. This time, they’re not just behind the scenes—they’ll be in front of the camera and behind the mic, ready to tell it all.
The sisters are launching a video podcast this August on X, where they’ll host guest interviews and candid conversations with innovators and disruptors who challenge the norm. But it won’t just be about tennis. Fans can look forward to the sisters’ trademark wit, playful exchanges, and the undeniable chemistry that has defined their bond for decades. X reports that the Williams duo already dominates online buzz, generating the majority of digital mentions about them on the platform.
Serena teased the project on X in classic fashion, writing:
“The world’s not ready for the real conversations @Venuseswilliams and I are going to pull out on our podcast. Don’t be scared… This isn’t just tennis, it’s our unfiltered truth. #SisterTalk #XOriginals #Sports”
The podcast will debut under the X Originals banner, marking Serena and Venus’s official entry into the creator space. They’re not the first in the family to partner with the platform, though—Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, launched The Offseason in Fall 2024, a reality series that followed National Women’s Soccer League players during training and downtime in Miami.
