Andy Murray introduces new family member and reveals how she fits into ‘busy’ Murray household – new photos

Tennis legend Andy Murray has introduced the newest addition to his family — an adorable puppy named Bonnie. The proud pet owner shared the exciting update along with a set of sweet new photos from his campaign with Purina PRO PLAN, showing the two cuddling in what appears to be the Murrays’ £5 million Surrey home.

Murray revealed that Bonnie, a Flat-Coated Retriever, joined the family earlier this year and has quickly become part of their lively household. “Bonnie only joined us this spring, and she’s already such a big part of our family,” he said. “Nutrition has always been essential to my performance, and it’s just as important for her too. I’ve learned so much about pet nutrition since working with Purina PRO PLAN®, and I hope Bonnie and I can inspire others to provide that same level of care.”

The athlete, 38, shared a touching moment online where Bonnie playfully licked his face as he smiled ear to ear, captioning it, “New addition to the family.” Fans were quick to shower the post with love, commenting on Bonnie’s beauty and lively personality. One fan wrote, “What a beauty! One of the best breeds for chasing tennis balls,” while another added, “Welcome to the world of Flat-Coated Retriever chaos!”

Bonnie’s arrival follows the heartbreaking loss of the Murray family’s beloved Border Terrier, Rusty. Murray paid a heartfelt tribute to his late pet earlier this year, writing, “You were the most loyal and protective companion we could have wished for. The house feels empty without you in it… but today, we’d do anything to hear your bark again. Rest easy, Ruzz.”

Through his new journey with Bonnie, Andy Murray continues to show that even amid a busy sports career, there’s always room for love, care, and a wagging tail at home.
