Charley Hull opened up about her emotions following a challenging KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Despite a tough start, Hull showed resilience, finishing tied for 12th with a 5-over score, while Minjee Lee claimed victory with 4-under.
The Fields Ranch East course, hosting its first major, tested even seasoned players. Hull struggled in her opening round, carding 6-over 78, marked by multiple bogeys and a double bogey, but remained determined to fight back.
Her second round saw a strong recovery, shooting a 3-under 69 with four birdies and only one bogey. Though she faced ups and downs in subsequent rounds, Hull maintained composure, closing with consistent 1-over 73 scores.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Hull expressed pride in her comeback: “Pleased with how I fought back after Round 1, especially with such tough conditions. Congrats Minjee Lee on the win. Next up, KPMG Women’s Open.”
