Emma Raducanu found herself humorously spotlighted at the Italian Open after being named and shamed for misplacing her tournament credential multiple times. The British No. 2 topped a wall display showing players who needed replacement badges.
The 22-year-old shared the amusing moment on Instagram, posing beside the sign titled “Sorry I’ve lost my credential 2025 edition!!!” She even wrote a light-hearted apology letter referencing Britney Spears’ lyrics: “Oops I did it again…”
Despite the mishap, Raducanu enjoyed her time in Rome, both on and off the court. She earned her first career win at the Italian Open, beating Aussie qualifier Maya Joint in a tough three-set match.
Raducanu also took time to explore the city, visiting the Trevi Fountain and enjoyin lunch on a Roman terrace. Her playful spirit and openness added charm to her ongoing campaign at the Foro Italico.
