“Even if I were 100, I’d still watch it” — When Charley Hull revealed her love for iconic British TV series

Charley Hull, a standout golfer with multiple LPGA and LET titles, once shared a charming detail about her personal life. In a 2016 BBC Sports interview, Hull revealed her love for the legendary British sci-fi series Doctor Who, calling it her all-time favorite.

During the segment, filmed before her appearance at the Rio Olympics, Hull was asked to share three secrets. One was her admiration for “Doctor Who”, specifically her fondness for David Tennant’s portrayal of the Doctor. She added that she’d watch the show even at age 100.

At just 20 years old, Hull also disclosed she didn’t have a driver’s license at the time. Years later, in 2023, she passed her driving test in England on her first try. In the 2016 Olympics, she narrowly missed a medal, finishing tied for seventh.

Today, Hull continues to compete at the highest level. She recently tied for 12th at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and has earned over $616K this season. With five top-20 finishes so far, fans await her next
big win.
