‘Hundreds of messages’ – Simon Jordan opens up on personal stalker hell after horrible Emma Raducanu situation

Simon Jordan has spoken openly about his personal experience with stalking, following Emma Raducanu’s recent ordeal. The British tennis star was visibly distressed during her Dubai Tennis Championship match after spotting a persistent male spectator in the crowd, leading to his subsequent ban by the WTA.

Raducanu’s latest encounter is reminiscent of a previous stalking incident in 2022 when Amrit Magar was issued a five-year restraining order for repeatedly visiting her home. The trauma left Raducanu feeling unsafe and constantly vigilant, highlighting the ongoing dangers public figures face from fixated individuals.

Jordan, a former Crystal Palace chairman, also endured harassment in 2006 when Tara Stout bombarded him with lewd messages, unsolicited gifts, and threats against his family. Speaking on talkSPORT, he described the experience as invasive and unsettling, recalling how Stout’s actions escalated to extreme levels.

Legal action became necessary when the stalking intensified, with Jordan ultimately prosecuting Stout in court. He emphasized the distress caused by persistent harassment, underscoring the broader issue of personal security for high-profile individuals. He expressed hope that Raducanu’s situation would be resolved swiftly, allowing her to focus on her career without fear.
