Former pro golfer and social media star Paige Spiranac didn’t hold back after a fan took a jab at her on X (formerly Twitter) over her behavior in the Internet Invitational YouTube golf series.
The fan accused Spiranac of being “annoying” and allegedly forcing rule changes in the event, writing:
“@PaigeSpiranac you cried and bitched until you got all the rules changed for the entire event? Lmao what an annoying cunt.”
Spiranac quickly responded with a bold and detailed tweet, clarifying the situation and addressing the criticism directly.
“Mondays are always so much fun lol new episode of the Internet Invitational is out…
1. The Barstool/BDS team picked me as one of the four captains. I didn’t pick myself.
2. Micah, Peter, and Brad would absolutely smoke me from the same tees, so it wouldn’t have been fair for my team.
3. I said, ‘we won that draft,’ just to hype up my team.
4. Hand up — I was annoying lol.
5. Funny how I’m called terrible until the draft starts and suddenly I’m ‘stacking my team.’”
Her quick-witted and transparent reply earned praise from fans, with many appreciating her humor and honesty.
