Emma Raducanu admits she still feels guilty over her late withdrawal from last year’s Wimbledon mixed doubles with Andy Murray. The withdrawal, due to wrist soreness, ended Murray’s hopes of a farewell match on home soil.
The sudden decision left many disappointed, including Murray’s mother, Judy, who initially criticized Raducanu’s move. Although she later said her comment was sarcastic, the tension surrounding the incident remains unresolved.
Raducanu revealed they briefly spoke at the Australian Open and believes things are “smoothed over,” but she remains unsure if Murray has truly forgiven her. She still hopes to speak with him again soon.

Despite speculation, Raducanu has ruled out Murray becoming her coach. She will continue working with Mark Petchey part-time, alongside Jane O’Donoghue and Tom Walsh, as she aims to build more independence on and off the court.
