Nelly Korda Turns Heads in $649.99 Nike Varsity Jacket at Her Invitational
World No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda made a stylish appearance at her own tournament, the Nelly Invitational, held at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. Instead of competing on the LPGA Tour this week, the American star took on the role of host—and party planner—while showing off her sporty side.
Korda wore a $649.99 green-and-white Nike varsity jacket paired with a black t-shirt, denim jeans, and pink sunglasses. Photos from the event were shared by the AJGA on Instagram, with the caption: “@NellyKorda knows how to throw a party.”
The Nelly Invitational is a two-round, all-girls competition. Clara Ding currently leads the field at three-under after rounds of 65 and 76.
On the professional front, Korda has already played five events in 2025, with finishes of T2, T7, T22, T16, and T14 at tournaments including the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and the Chevron Championship. Her most recent outing at the Chevron saw her finish at two-under, highlighted by a strong bounce-back after opening with a difficult 77. Ultimately, Japan’s Mao Saigo claimed the title, denying Korda a chance to defend her crown.
Reflecting on her Chevron performance, Korda admitted she wished she had prepared more but remained positive about her fight back after a tough start. “Last year was amazing, but it’s in the past,” she said. “I need to keep working hard and focus on the future.”
Following the season’s first major, Korda opted for a short break, skipping the Black Desert Championship to dedicate time to hosting her AJGA event.
