Xander Schauffele is among the top golfers facing injuries ahead of the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational. The World No. 2 has been recovering from an acute intercostal strain that sidelined him from key PGA Tour events, including the Genesis Invitational and AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Alongside Schauffele, Will Zalatoris and Hideki Matsuyama are also dealing with injuries. Zalatoris has struggled with back issues since the 2022 FedExCup, while Matsuyama withdrew from the 2024 BMW Championship due to a similar condition. Despite their setbacks, Schauffele is set to make his return at Bay Hill from March 6 to 9.
Before this season, Schauffele competed three times in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, with his best finish being T24. Last year, he secured two major titles at The Open and the PGA Championship, along with 15 top-10 finishes. His return adds excitement to the prestigious 72-man field.
