Spaun, fresh off his major win at Oakmont, disclosed the news during a podcast, mentioning casual chats with McIlroy about London. The conversation occurred during the Players Championship, where McIlroy narrowly edged Spaun in a playoff.
McIlroy recently confirmed to media that he and Erica want to spend more time in the UK. He noted their daughter, Poppy, will also join them as they prepare to relocate from their current home in Florida.
