Jordan Spieth Drops Personal Update About Wife Annie Verret and Family Amid Injury

Jordan Spieth, sidelined from the Travelers Championship due to a neck and upper-back injury, offered fans a personal update. During a press conference, he revealed that he and his wife Annie Verret are expecting their third child in July 2025.

Spieth shared that the timing of his injury offers a silver lining, allowing him to spend time with his growing family and prepare for the baby’s arrival. “We’re having a baby here in a couple weeks, so I’ll have some time off now,” he said.

The couple’s young children, Sammy and Sophie, have already captured fans’ hearts, notably during Annie’s caddying appearance while pregnant at the Masters’ Par 3 contest. Spieth emphasized how fatherhood has shifted his perspective on balancing life and golf.

Despite his disappointment in withdrawing from the tournament — the first withdrawal in his 297 PGA Tour starts — Spieth remains optimistic. He hopes the recovery period will allow him to return refreshed and ready to compete at the highest level soon.
