Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth have officially committed to the 2025 WM Phoenix Open, joining Billy Horschel in the star-studded field. Tournament chairman Matt Mooney confirmed their participation, highlighting the event’s growing prestige. The tournament is set for early February at TPC Scottsdale.
The 2025 PGA Tour season is already underway, with players competing in The Sentry and The American Express. Thomas and Horschel participated in The Sentry, while Spieth will begin his season at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, scheduled from January 30 to February 2.
Mooney expressed excitement about the additions, stating that the 2025 field is shaping up to be one of the strongest in history. He emphasized the significance of “The People’s Open” and the anticipation surrounding the participation of top PGA Tour professionals in the highly competitive event.
The WM Phoenix Open, a four-day tournament, will run from February 6-9, with Nick Taylor defending his title. While Thomas and Horschel have already started their seasons, Spieth will officially begin his campaign at Pebble Beach before heading to Scottsdale.
