It’s Hump Day, and while some are celebrating this mid-week milestone, I’m more pumped about today for a different reason—it’s NFL Schedule Release Day! Honestly, it’s one of the most underrated days on the sports calendar. Sure, we had some drama yesterday with Amber spouting off her nonsense, but we’re back to the good stuff today.

For me, there’s nothing more exciting than scrolling Twitter all day to catch those schedule leaks. You never know if they’re real, but it’s always a wild ride. At one point, my Dolphins were scheduled for five primetime games this year. Five! Anyone who knows the Dolphins in primetime knows how absurd that is, but fingers crossed it’s true.

Moving on to the fun stuff—today’s Hump Day Nightcaps bring us some exciting swimsuit content. Nelly Korda, the No. 1 LPGA player, is back in a variety of swimsuits. And yes, the SI Swimsuit team has really nailed it this year. But let’s also talk about the political chaos happening right now. RFK Jr. is facing off with the purple-haired congresswoman from Connecticut. It’s a mess, but RFK Jr. is doing his best to fight the insanity. Meanwhile, we have more ridiculous antics from the left, like a Michigan congresswoman falling asleep while supposedly representing her constituents.

But hey, let’s not dwell on that. The real fun begins with Nelly, Livvy, Scottie Scheffler, and Russell Wilson. What a lineup! Of course, the NFL also decided to bless us with another season featuring the Chiefs and all the usual suspects—Pat Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Tony Romo, who’s going to be all over the place. Honestly, I’m dreading hearing his voice for another season, but it’s all part of the fun.

On to Russ—he’s really gone full-on with the “Mr. Unlimited” persona. I used to be a fan of Russell, but after all the cringe-worthy moments over the years, he’s become one of the most unbearable figures in the NFL. The game pants in May? Seriously? Not to mention all the other ridiculous things he’s done.
And then we’ve got Scottie Scheffler, who’s looking as solid as ever. It’s been almost a year since that epic moment, and I’ve got a feeling this weekend is going to be a big one for him. The guy’s got heart, and I’m betting on him to take home a major soon.
That’s it for today—big day for the SI Swimsuit stars and for all the other crazy sports moments. Here’s to a fantastic Hump Day night!
