Former tennis champion Maria Sharapova and Hollywood star Anne Hathaway recently shared a glamorous moment together in Italy. The two were spotted looking radiant by the shores of Lake Como, where a photo of them together, posted on Sharapova’s Instagram, quickly gathered more than 70,000 likes.
Both women had been in Milan for Fashion Week, attending high-profile events, but afterward they escaped the busy city to enjoy some downtime in a more relaxed setting. Dressed in sporty outfits, they spent a peaceful day by the lake. While in the area, Sharapova also stopped at Villa La Cassinella in Lenno, where she is said to have met with renowned coach Riccardo Piatti.
Lake Como remains a favorite retreat for celebrities from sports and entertainment. This summer alone, big names like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, Michael Jordan, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, as well as George Clooney all enjoyed the lake’s breathtaking scenery.
