Tennis icon Andy Murray has delighted fans by introducing the newest member of his family — a charming puppy named Bonnie. The proud athlete revealed the exciting news alongside a series of heartwarming photos from his latest collaboration with Purina PRO PLAN, capturing tender moments between him and Bonnie inside what appears to be the Murrays’ £5 million Surrey residence.
Bonnie, a Flat-Coated Retriever, joined the family earlier this year and has already settled perfectly into their vibrant home. “Bonnie only joined us this spring, but she’s already such a huge part of our family,” Murray shared. “Proper nutrition has always played a key role in my own performance, and it’s equally important for her. Working with Purina PRO PLAN® has taught me so much about pet nutrition, and I hope our journey inspires others to give their pets the same care.”

The 38-year-old athlete also posted an adorable video showing Bonnie licking his face as he grinned happily, captioning it, “New addition to the family.” Fans quickly flooded the comments with love and admiration, calling Bonnie “gorgeous” and “full of energy.” One follower wrote, “What a beauty! Perfect for chasing tennis balls,” while another joked, “Welcome to the world of Flat-Coated Retriever chaos!”

Bonnie’s arrival comes months after the Murray family said goodbye to their beloved Border Terrier, Rusty. Paying tribute to his late companion, Murray wrote, “You were the most loyal and protective friend we could have wished for. The house feels empty without you… we’d do anything to hear your bark again. Rest easy, Ruzz.” Through Bonnie, Murray reminds fans that even with a packed sporting schedule, there’s always room for love, companionship, and a wagging tail at home.
