Nelly Korda enjoys ‘coffee date’ with her fave Olivia Cowan amid LPGA Tour break. See full details 👇

American golf star Nelly Korda took some time away from the LPGA Tour this week to relax with friends. Skipping the Portland Classic, Korda reshared an Instagram story from fellow pro Olivia Cowan, where the two enjoyed a cozy coffee outing alongside Steph Kyriacou.

The photo showed coffee and a pastry, with Cowan joking about possibly starting an Instagram page dedicated to coffee spots worldwide.

Korda and Kyriacou had last teed it up at the AIG Women’s Open, where Korda finished tied for 36th and Kyriacou placed eighth. Cowan, meanwhile, recently competed on the Ladies European Tour, taking fourth at the PIF London Championship.

So far in 2025, Korda has remained consistent but hasn’t yet picked up a win in 13 starts. Her highlights include five top-10s, with runner-up finishes at both the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and the U.S. Women’s Open. She also earned top-five results at the Mizuho Americas Open and the Women’s Scottish Open, while maintaining steady performances in several other majors and LPGA events.

Despite her strong season, Korda recently lost her No. 1 spot in the Rolex Rankings. Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul overtook her following the Women’s Open, ending Korda’s impressive 71-week reign at the top.

The 27-year-old had held the slimmest of leads before the major, just 0.1861 points ahead of Thitikul. It was a sharp contrast to her peak dominance in mid-2024, when she had built a commanding gap of more than six points.

Over her career, Korda has now spent 108 weeks as the world’s top-ranked player. She first rose to No. 1 in 2021, regained the position in 2024 with a historic streak of five consecutive wins, and has remained one of the most consistent forces in women’s golf ever since.
