Professional golfer and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda is officially engaged. The 27-year-old LPGA star revealed on Instagram on November 28 that she has said yes to longtime boyfriend Casey Gunderson, a businessman based in Florida.
Korda shared a series of intimate photos capturing the couple’s joyful moment. In one image, she reclines on Gunderson’s lap while holding a mock newspaper announcing their engagement. Other pictures show the pair embracing on a beach at sunset, swimming together, and posing with their dog.
Fans, fellow athletes, and major sports brands flooded the comments with congratulatory messages. NBA icon LeBron James, WNBA standout Caitlin Clark, and Nike’s official account were among those sending well wishes. Korda’s sister, former LPGA golfer Jessica Korda, jokingly declared that Nelly was officially “off the market.”
According to professional records, Gunderson serves as a vice president at a Florida-based engineering firm.
The engagement comes during a strong period in Korda’s career. She recently finished third at the CME Group Tour Championship, closing out her ninth season on the LPGA Tour. Earlier in the month, she also made headlines with the debut of her signature Nike golf shoes, designed with personal symbols and colors inspired by her zodiac sign.
Korda comes from a prominent sports family. Her younger brother, Sebastian Korda, is a professional tennis player who announced his own engagement earlier in November. Their parents, Petr Korda and Regina Rajchrtová, were both former professional tennis players.
