Lindsey Vonn is opening up about one of the toughest goals she’s ever achieved as she prepares to make her season debut with her sights set on the 2026 Winter Olympics. The legendary skier shared glimpses of her transformation on Instagram, revealing how she worked relentlessly to reach a milestone that was “not easy to do.”

The former Olympic champion explained that her mission was to gain 12 pounds of lean muscle without sacrificing agility. Posting photos from March through October, Vonn proudly announced that she had finally reached her goal, crediting long hours in the gym for helping her get stronger than ever. “Never thought I’d be trying to gain weight in my life—it was actually not easy to do! But a few weeks before the season starts, I’ve officially met my goal,” she wrote.

After retiring in 2019 due to recurring injuries, Vonn made a comeback in December 2024 with one final dream—to compete in the Winter Olympics again.
