Not Lewis Hamilton! Emma Raducanu Backs This Driver To Become 2025 World Champion

British tennis star Emma Raducanu has backed Max Verstappen to win the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship, overlooking her compatriot Lewis Hamilton. In a recent interaction with Sky Sports, she expressed confidence in Verstappen’s dominance despite McLaren’s impressive form this season.

Verstappen has secured the championship for the past four years, and Raducanu believes he will extend his reign to five. However, she also expressed her support for McLaren in the Constructors’ Championship, hoping the team would emerge victorious despite Verstappen’s individual success.

McLaren showcased strong performances during practice sessions at the Australian Grand Prix, with Lando Norris topping FP1 and Oscar Piastri securing P4. Meanwhile, Verstappen finished P5 in FP1 and P7 in FP2, raising questions about his early-season form.

The final practice session saw Piastri leading ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell, while Verstappen settled for third. Ferrari struggled, with Charles Leclerc finishing fourth and Hamilton in eighth. Despite the intense competition, Raducanu remains firm in her belief that Verstappen will clinch another title.
