Nelly Korda has been one of the most consistent golfers of the 2025 season, yet the World No. 1 is still searching for her first victory of the year. Ahead of the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl Golf Course in Wales, Korda’s practice-round attire has sparked a buzz online.
The 27-year-old showed up in a striking camouflage outfit — beige and green trousers paired with a beige tee and a green jacket. Golf.com even shared her look on social media, asking fans to fill in the blank: “Nelly Korda’s practice round fit is ______.”
Reactions poured in quickly. Some fans poked fun at the outfit, with one writing, “Outfits won’t help Nelly win,” while others joked about her camouflage making her invisible. Comments ranged from “Where is she?” to “Is that John Cena?” and even, “Tee time at 2, basic training at 7.”
Despite the playful trolling, Korda heads into the Women’s Open after a solid performance at the ISPS Handa Scottish Open, where she placed fifth.
So far in 2025, she has finished runner-up twice — at the U.S. Women’s Open and the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions — and has collected several other top-10 finishes. However, compared to her dominant 2024 season, where she won seven LPGA titles, this year has been tougher in terms of closing out tournaments.
Still, with her consistency, many believe it’s only a matter of time before Korda turns her strong performances into a win.
