Golf influencer Paige Spiranac was all in for Team USA as they tried to bounce back from their 2023 Ryder Cup loss at Marco Simone Golf Club. Following the Americans’ impressive Singles performance on Sunday at Bethpage Black, she made an interesting request about captain Keegan Bradley.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Spiranac said she wanted to see the “pump-up” speech Bradley gave his players before the matches, calling it “epic.”
This wasn’t the first time she weighed in on Bradley’s decisions during the Ryder Cup. On Saturday, she openly questioned his choice to pair Harris English with Collin Morikawa in the foursomes, especially after the duo was routed by Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood.
Despite her doubts about some of Bradley’s calls, Spiranac also had praise for the captain. In fact, back in August, she even admitted she would have preferred to see him competing instead of leading the team. She argued that Bradley still had plenty of years left to captain, saying she wished he hadn’t been given the role this year so he could play.
Had Bradley chosen to name himself a playing captain, he would have been the first American to do so since Arnold Palmer in 1963. Even former U.S. President Donald Trump publicly backed the idea.
In the end, however, Team Europe walked away with the victory.
