Paige Spiranac expresses her stance on working as PGA Tour’s on-course reporter after fans request to ‘new CEO’

Should Paige Spiranac Be the PGA Tour’s Next On-Course Reporter?
Paige Spiranac has responded positively to a fan suggestion that she become the PGA Tour’s on-course reporter under incoming CEO Brian Rolapp. The idea, floated by McGolfin TV on X, quickly gained momentum among her loyal fanbase.

Once a competitive golfer, Spiranac played on the Cactus Tour and made the cut at the Scottish Open. Though she fell short of earning an LPGA Tour card, she has since become one of golf’s most recognized media figures.

The original tweet calling for her hiring read, “If the new PGA CEO doesn’t immediately hire Paige Spiranac… all is lost.” Spiranac reposted it with the cheeky reply, “I mean, the people have spoken.” Fans enthusiastically backed the idea.

Supporters flooded X with endorsements like “Hire her now!” and “That would be a great job for you!” Others argued that her presence would broaden the PGA Tour’s appeal and boost viewer engagement.

Spiranac has some experience in the role already. In March, she reported live at the Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass. She also joined the Grass League’s media team in May, offering commentary to help grow the game’s visibility.

Separately, Spiranac supported Rory McIlroy’s decision to skip media duties during major tournaments. She tweeted that players shouldn’t be forced to speak when facing scrutiny, adding,

“There’s clearly something more going on we’re not privy to.”
