Back in 2018, Paige Spiranac made waves when she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue at just 24 years old. Photographed in Aruba by James Macari, the golf star and influencer wowed fans in her debut shoot. But beyond the glamorous photos, Spiranac used her platform to shine a light on a cause close to her heart—fighting cyberbullying.

“People are cyberbullied every single day, and that’s not O.K.,” she explained at the time. “We need to support victims instead of telling them to ignore the hate.” To help make a difference, she teamed up with Cybersmile, a nonprofit committed to ending online harassment.

Spiranac also opened up about her personal struggles growing up, revealing that she battled asthma, social anxiety, and a hair condition that often left her feeling like an outsider. “I know how it feels to be bullied, to have no friends, to be the one nobody wanted around,” she admitted.

Those difficult experiences didn’t hold her back. Today, she carries herself with confidence while still being open about the pressures of living in the spotlight.
