Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth have earned their fifth sponsor exemptions of the 2025 season, gaining entry into the prestigious Memorial Tournament. Both golfers have struggled to qualify on merit due to inconsistent performances throughout the year.
They will join Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker as notable names competing via exemption. The Memorial, one of the Signature events, will be held at Muirfield Village Golf Club from May 29 to June 1.
Fowler has played 11 events, made 9 cuts, but hasn’t cracked the top 10. Spieth has fared slightly better with three top-10 finishes in 12 starts but still no victory since 2022.
Despite challenging seasons, their presence adds excitement and star power to the tournament. Both players hope this opportunity will spark momentum and improve their standing in the latter half of the season.
