Sam Kerr has returned to Chelsea training after months sidelined with an ACL injury sustained in January 2024 during a mid-season camp in Morocco. The 31-year-old striker was seen at the club’s Cobham training ground working with the ball and sharing laughs with teammate Guro Reiten.
Manager’s Update on Her Progress
Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor praised Kerr’s progress but refrained from setting a return date. “It’s difficult to give a really precise time frame for Sam. She’s not fully practising with the team, but she’s progressing with her rehab and going in the right direction,” Bompastor explained.
