Sam Kerr has revealed a striking new appearance while starring in Nike’s latest “Scary Good” campaign, joining global stars like Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé, and Ronaldinho to celebrate fearless, attacking football.

Labelled “Australia’s most dangerous striker,” Kerr stands out alongside elite talents in the promotional clip, despite being sidelined for 18 months due to a torn ACL that disrupted her momentum on both club and international stages.

Although her return to competitive football remains unclear, recent training footage from the Sam Kerr Football Centre suggests steady progress. Chelsea and the Matildas are hopeful for her comeback ahead of the WSL season.

Matildas coach Joe Montemurro emphasized caution, saying Kerr’s physical build-up must be carefully monitored. He added that Australia is closely coordinating with Chelsea to ensure her safe and timely return.

Kerr was notably absent from Australia’s latest squad for international friendlies, but Montemurro confirmed the striker is focused on recovery, with eyes firmly set on the 2026 Asian Cup to be hosted on home soil.

Off the pitch, Kerr and fiancée Kristie Mewis recently welcomed their son Jagger, deepening public interest in their storybook romance. Their upcoming December wedding adds another exciting chapter to Kerr’s eventful year.
