Serena Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, has unveiled a major new project, delighting her global fanbase. Nearly three years after retiring from tennis, Williams continues her mission to inspire and empower, now expanding her influence beyond the court.
Through her venture capital firm, Serena Ventures, Williams has consistently championed diversity, with the majority of investments supporting women and underrepresented founders. Her latest endeavor further cements her commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among marginalized groups.
Williams announced on Instagram her new role as Reckitt’s first entrepreneur-in-residence. Partnering with the Catalyst program, she aims to provide funding and expert guidance to 200 female and underrepresented entrepreneurs, targeting £10 million in support for scalable innovations.
Following her advocacy at Cannes on healthcare challenges in underserved areas, Williams emphasizes the economic and social benefits of empowering women entrepreneurs. Her leadership promises impactful change, especially in health and wellness sectors globally.
