Serena Williams turned heads at Milan Fashion Week, arriving at the premiere of The Tiger in a striking Gucci gown that blended elegance with bold detail.
The tennis icon and founder of Wyn Beauty wore a long-sleeved, floor-length black dress crafted from semi-sheer fabric, featuring subtle glimpses of the Gucci logo. The gown’s dramatic feather accents along the neckline, cuffs, and hem added both texture and luxury to the look.

The event marked more than just Williams’ fashion moment—it coincided with Gucci’s new era under Demna, who officially unveiled his first collection as the brand’s artistic director. Previously creative director at Balenciaga, Demna is aiming to redefine “Gucciness” with a fresh perspective.
Speaking to WWD, he dismissed assumptions that he would simply replicate past styles, saying, “Why would I come to Gucci to do what I’ve done before? If people expect an oversized bomber with a GG monogram, they haven’t truly understood my work.”
Looking ahead, Demna emphasized the unique opportunity to honor Gucci’s heritage—its iconic loafers, bamboo details, silks, and floral prints—while simultaneously creating something modern and relevant for 2025 and beyond.
Williams’ glamorous red carpet appearance symbolized both Gucci’s storied past and the exciting creative direction that lies ahead.
