The 43-year-old tennis legend revealed she shed 31 pounds using the company’s GLP-1 medication, which she now promotes as part of a multi-year partnership.
In the ad, Serena models a chic white two-piece outfit, highlighting her toned waist and legs. She also demonstrates how the treatment is used, with shots of her self-administering the injections in her thigh and stomach.
The former world No. 1 explained that she turned to the treatment after struggling to lose weight following the births of her daughters, Olympia, 7, and Adira, 2, with husband Alexis Ohanian. Despite years of intense training and clean eating, she admitted her body wasn’t responding the way it once did. “I realized it wasn’t about willpower,” she told PEOPLE.

Williams stressed she didn’t take the decision lightly, saying she researched the medication thoroughly before starting. Once she finished breastfeeding her youngest, she began the weekly injections and soon noticed dramatic results—not just in weight loss but also in her energy, activity levels, and joint health.
While she embraces her transformation, Serena emphasized she has always felt confident in her own skin. “Women face judgment about their bodies at any size, and I’m no stranger to that,” she said. “It’s important for me to show my daughters confidence at every stage.”
The 23-time Grand Slam champion made clear that the injections weren’t a substitute for a healthy lifestyle but rather a boost to her diet and exercise routine. “GLP-1 helped enhance what I was already doing,” she explained.
Over the past year, Serena has teased her slimmed-down look through swimsuit and gym photos, sparking speculation about her transformation. Now, she says she feels stronger, more active, and more comfortable than ever.
“Loving yourself is essential at every stage,” Serena added, noting she’s embraced each version of her body through motherhood and beyond.
