“Since the Mavs didn’t make it”:Scottie Scheffler makes a hilarious pick when asked which team he wants to see winning the NBA Finals

After completing his round at the Memorial Tournament, Scottie Scheffler was asked if he had a favorite for the NBA Finals. With a laugh, he jokingly picked the Dallas Mavericks, despite their elimination from the playoffs.

Currently, the Oklahoma City Thunder have secured a spot in the NBA Finals, awaiting their opponent from the Eastern Conference. The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers remain in tight contention for the last spot.

On the course, Scheffler is holding fourth place after Round 2 of the Memorial Tournament. He trails behind Ben Griffin and Nick Taylor, who currently top the leaderboard in tough, rainy conditions.

Reflecting on the wet and demanding course, Scheffler described Muirfield as “very challenging.” Despite the tough lies, he carded a 2-under 70 for the day, bringing his tournament total to 4-under.
