Maria Sharapova may have endured yet another tough loss to rival Serena Williams at Wimbledon—her 17th in a row—but the tennis star wasn’t letting it keep her down. She was spotted unwinding on the beaches of Montenegro, soaking up the sun and showing off her toned bikini body.
The Russian beauty kept cool with drinks in hand and made sure her tan was even, even slipping her bikini straps down to avoid tan lines. She also shielded herself from the sun with a hat and touched up with sunscreen to protect her skin.
In true beach-day fashion, Sharapova was seen braiding her hair, brushing sand from her feet, and staying glued to her phone—even daring to take it with her into the water. At one point, she was caught snapping photos with a selfie stick, clearly making the most of her vacation downtime.
Despite carrying the weight of another painful defeat, Sharapova appeared relaxed and radiant, proving that while Serena may dominate her on the court, she still knows how to shine off of it.
