Ten years and it’s all downhill for Andy Murray and wife Kim as they celebrate anniversary on the slopes

The couple, who tied the knot at Dunblane Cathedral in 2015, were all smiles as they posed for photos in Val d’Isère. The former tennis champion has recently taken up skiing, though his early attempts were far from smooth. On his first trip, Murray famously had to be rescued by snowmobile after getting stranded on the mountain.

Reflecting on his early struggles, the 37-year-old admitted his first two days on the slopes were “shocking” and joked that Kim refused to join him on the ski lifts because of his lack of skill. Thankfully, it seems he’s improved, with his wife happily by his side for their anniversary trip.

Murray, a father of four from Dunblane, enjoyed a small reception at his Cromlix hotel after his wedding a decade ago. Now, ten years later, he and Kim are celebrating in the Alpine sunshine.
