Tennis star Jamie Murray marked a special family milestone by sharing a sweet moment on social media to celebrate his daughter Ava’s first birthday.
The seven-time Grand Slam champion and his wife, Alejandra, welcomed Ava into the world last year, and the proud dad couldn’t resist posting a touching photo to mark the occasion.
In the picture, Jamie and Alejandra, dressed in matching white outfits, are seen smiling while sitting on a swing chair with their little girl. The caption read: “We made it through a year! I am so blessed to have an incredible little girl and wife. Ava is so blessed to have an incredible mum by her side.”

Jamie, 36, married Colombian-born Alejandra in 2010 at his brother Andy’s Cromlix Hotel in Dunblane. The couple’s daughter is also a cousin to Andy Murray’s four children with wife Kim. Their mum, Judy Murray, recently revealed on the Miked Up podcast that Ava’s arrival made her a grandmother for the fifth time.
The proud dad first announced his new role in 2022 when he posted a picture of himself playing with his newborn on Instagram.
