Jamie Murray, brother of Sir Andy Murray, has reportedly divorced his wife Alejandra Gutierrez after 15 years of marriage. The split is said to have taken place in 2024, with the divorce officially granted on August 22 this year.
The couple, who share a three-year-old daughter named Ava, are said to be handling the separation as amicably as possible. A family friend told The Sun that while the situation is very sad, both are working hard to move forward.
Jamie, 39, has since been linked to the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya, where his profile allegedly features a picture of him playing tennis with Andy. On the app, the seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion describes himself as an athlete who travels the world competing. His spokesperson has confirmed the divorce, calling it a difficult time for both Jamie and Alejandra.
The pair first met in London in 2008 while Alejandra, originally from Colombia, was studying business. They married two years later in Dunblane, Scotland, in a private ceremony where Andy is believed to have been best man.
This summer, Jamie returned to Wimbledon for the first time since Andy’s retirement. Despite early exits in both men’s and mixed doubles, Jamie has no plans to quit just yet. Approaching his 40th birthday, he says his body still feels strong and he’s motivated to keep competing, especially after regaining confidence in his serve.
