She wasn’t alone on the getaway—Serena was joined by her sister Venus and their mother Oracene, with the family taking part in fun activities such as speedboat rides and jet skiing. The star seemed to be making the most of her time away from the court.
Her break comes after being forced to withdraw from last month’s WTA Finals in Singapore due to a shoulder injury. Speaking to CNN, Serena admitted she wanted to return only when she felt strong enough, saying she preferred to compete while at least 70–80 percent healthy.
Off the court, Serena has also been seen spending time with Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, with the pair recently attending Heidi Klum’s Halloween party together. According to reports, they appeared close throughout the evening, fueling further speculation about their friendship.
