Mikaela Shiffrin, a record-breaking Olympic skier, got engaged to fellow alpine champion Aleksander Aamodt Kilde in April 2024. The Norwegian skier is a World Cup titleholder, known for his strength, charm, and unwavering support for Shiffrin.

Their relationship blossomed through mutual respect and shared passion for skiing. Kilde publicly supported Shiffrin after her 2022 Olympic disappointment, praising her resilience. Shiffrin later echoed similar devotion when Kilde suffered a severe crash in January 2024.

Kilde, a Bærum, Norway native, has skied since age three. He’s won multiple Olympic and World Cup medals and is also a brand ambassador for an agricultural tech company promoting sustainability in farming.

Outside competition, the couple enjoys traveling, red carpet events, and working out together. Whether lifting weights or dancing poolside, Kilde and Shiffrin continue to inspire fans with their bond—on and off the slopes.
